Tourists walked down a mountain road at a scenic spot as water from torrential rains cascaded down like a waterfall in eastern China.

The video was filmed in Tai'an City in Shandong Province on August 7.

The torrential rains hit the Taishan Scenic Area, causing water to cascade down the steps like a waterfall. Due to the heavy downpour, the site was temporarily closed, and staff quickly guided visitors out of the mountain area.

A tourist, Mr Wang, reported that the rain began in the evening and that the resulting water flow was so powerful his shoes were nearly swept away as he descended.

By August 8, some routes within the scenic area had reopened, with officials confirming that no injuries or casualties were reported during the storm.
