This is the moment a woman escapes serious injury when she delays going out of the door, and seconds later, a massive wall tile lands on the ground exactly where she would have been standing if she had not paused.

The incident unfolded in the city of Baoding, in Hebei, China, on Saturday, August 3.

The woman named only as Ms Yang was about to leave the store when a customer stopped her for a chat.

Seconds later, a single tile from the store wall suddenly broke off and dropped loudly to the ground outside the entryway as she paused and listened to the customer.

Her colleague, standing outside and in the middle of opening the store's shutter, was left open-mouthed in shock as the tile dropped in front of her.

The event happened quickly, and the CCTV camera in the store recorded it.

Afterwards, the woman reflected on the event, saying:'If I hadn't turned around and listened to what the customer said, I would have been hit.'
