This is the moment a Chinese man gave a stubborn goat a violent beating after it squared up to him on the road in China.

The man, Mr Gao, was walking along a route with a dog in Lu'an City, Anhui Province when a white goat unexpectedly appeared.

The goat approached Mr Gao, who decided it appeared too aggressive and grabbed it by the horns to give it a beating on July 28.

However, the goat refused to back down, so it was repeatedly grabbed by the horns, flung around, kicked, and punched.

When it still refused to give up, he dragged it off-camera to the riverside, where a separate camera filmed him attempting to throw it in the water.

He then dragged it to the ground and repeatedly punched it.

In the end, the goat apparently left, and he was seen walking back to the car after having driven it off.
