On August 9, Friday Sand artist Madhurendra made a Shivalinga wrapped with two big hooded snakes on green peepal leaves on Nag Panchami and paid homage to the snake god.

According to the Hindu calendar, the festival of Nag Panchami is celebrated every year on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month.

Sand artist Madhurendra told that
Congratulated the countrymen on Nag Panchami through his unique artwork.

On this day, along with worshiping snakes, there is a tradition of feeding them milk. It is believed that by worshiping snakes on this day one gets freedom from Kaal Sarp Dosh. With this one gets the blessings of Lord Shiva.
