USA: Irvine Police Shoot and Kill Son Stabbing His Mother B ROLL With PIO Briefing On Camera
Los Angeles, United States - August 08, 2024
08/08/2024 03:00 am (GMT-0700) | IRVINE, Calif. – Irvine police officers responded to the 4600 block of Green Tree Lane for a man with a knife stabbing a female to the front of the residence. Once officers arrived on scene, they located a male on top of a female stabbing her multiple times. An officer involved shooting occurred. Both the suspect and victim were pronounced deceased at the scene by firefighters and paramedics. A medical examiner van was seen leaving the location around 11:30 p.m.
Spokesperson Kyle Oldoerp with the Irvine Police Department spoke with KNN at the scene and said it was later determined that the suspect was the son of the victim. Officers did recover a knife at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
