USA: Santa Clarita 1 Person Killed After Car Slams Into Trash Truck
Los Angeles, United States - August 09, 2024
08/09/2024 08:00 am (GMT-0700) | SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – One person was killed in a crash after a sedan broadsided a trash truck in the Canyon Country area of the city of Santa Clarita.
The incident was first reported shortly before 8 a.m. near the intersection of Soledad Canyon Road and River Circle reporting a Burrtec trash truck had collided with a passenger sedan.
Firefighters worked to extricate one person from the car who was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
One person was rushed from the scene to a trauma center via ambulance in unknown condition.
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station deputies are investigating the crash at this time.
