08/10/2024 03:53 am (GMT-0700) | IRWINDALE, Calif. – CHP received multiple 911 calls of a multi-vehicle traffic collision eastbound on the 210 Freeway just before Irwindale Avenue in the city of Irwindale. Once officers and firefighters arrived on scene, they located a total of three to five vehicles blocking multiple lanes of the eastbound 210 Freeway just before Irwindale Avenue. A total of two to three patients were transported in unknown conditions to a local hospital. Unknown at this time how the crash occurred or if speed or alcohol was a factor. CHP had all eastbound lanes closed of the 210 Freeway at the 605 due to the traffic collision. Eastbound lanes were eventually reopened by the CHP once vehicles and crash debris were cleared from the scene.
