Live insect found in carton of milk in India
A live insect was found in a carton of milk in India.
Students at Ghodegaon's residential tribal English-medium Ashram School were alarmed after noticing live insects crawling in a tetra pack of milk served to them.
The discovery led to a commotion on campus, with students expressing their anger and dissatisfaction towards the hostel administration.
They claimed a similar incident happened six months ago when living insects or larvae were found in the food served to the students at the same hostel.
The Birsa Brigade, an organisation advocating for tribal rights, has raised concerns about these recurring issues, accusing the administration of endangering the well-being of students.
Project authorities have already confirmed that a bug was found in the milk, and samples have been sent to the Tribal Department and the Pune Food and Drug Department for further testing.
