Stunning sunrise behind Red Sands Towers in Kent, UK
A stunning sunrise was seen behind iconic Red Sands Towers off Kent, UK this morning (August 12) on what could be the hottest day of the year.
The sun was filmed rising at 5.40am local time from Minster on Sea beach, as the Met Office predict the temperature could reach 34 deg C in the south-east today.
The Red Sands Tower are defensive forts in the Thames Estuary originally designed to shoot down enemy planes in the Second World War.
