USA: Downtown Los Angeles Thieves Steal ATM Machine Bolted to Ground
Los Angeles, United States - August 12, 2024
08/12/2024 02:30 am (GMT-0700) | DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES – LAPD Central units responded to a call from the owner of a parking lot at the corner of 12th Street and Broadway reporting that thieves had stolen his ATM machine that was permanently mounted to the ground at the location.
The suspects used the lift-gate from their box truck to pull the ATM out of the ground and fled the scene.
Officers quickly located the box truck in the 1500 block of Essex Street.
One of the suspects fled on a bicycle stolen from a transient and was taken into custody nearby. The other suspect is still outstanding.
There are no further details at this time.
