Father and son out-manoeuvre massive alligator to reel in impressive clown knife fish catch
This father and son duo managed to out-manoeuvre a massive alligator and land themselves an impressive clown knife fish catch in the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, Florida.
The intense footage shows David Frei and his son work together to carefully reel up their catch while simultaneously trying to not alert a patrolling gator.
"We hooked a massive clown knife fish. The problem is that they always attract the attention of a hungry gator that waits to poach the fish. WE OUTSMARTED THE GATOR!" said Frei.
After taking a picture with their catch, the fish is released back into the wild.
