STORYLINE:

Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover in the first half of this year amounted to about 7.6 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 9.4 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the country's National Statistics Committee.

Trade between Kyrgyzstan and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states in the period decreased by 9.3 percent to almost 2 billion U.S. dollars.

The volume of Kyrgyzstan's trade with non-EAEU countries amounted to 5.6 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 18.1 percent.

The largest share of the republic's trade was with Russia, which stood at 71.6 percent.
