Pet dog narrowly avoids injured when lead gets stuck in lift door
Footage shows a pet dog narrowly avoiding injury when its lead became stuck in a lift door in China.
The pooch owner was caught in a harrowing situation when her dog failed to exit the elevator with her in Yancheng, Jiangsu on August 8.
As the elevator began moving, the canine was suddenly lifted, and the owner's wrist was caught on the leash.
Emergency services from the Jiangsu Fire Department quickly responded to the distress call.
Firefighters used specialized tools to free the owner from the entangled leash while providing emotional support.
After being safely rescued, the owner was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The pet managed to escape from the leash and was unharmed.
