Chinese man narrowly escapes falling cables dislodged by passing truck
A man narrowly avoided overhead cables dislodged by a passing truck that came crashing down towards him in China.
CCTV footage filmed in Chongqing on August 7, shows a man who had just exited his car to make a phone call narrowly escaping being struck by the cables that were snagged by a large truck.
Reacting swiftly, the driver managed to leap out of harm's way, narrowly avoiding injury as the cable slammed into his vehicle.
Authorities quickly arrived on the scene. While the car sustained some damage, no injuries were reported.
The truck driver is now under investigation as officials assess the full extent of the damage and determine the next steps.
