STORYLINE:
The 10-volume Studies in African Literature Series has been unveiled recently at the Kenya literature authority in the country's capital city Nairobi.
The series is the first major national project on African literature "History of African English Literature" in China, funded by the National Publishing Fund.

"Over the years, I have been engaged in introducing African literature to the world, not only to China. There is vast space for cooperation between China and Africa, especially in literature and culture."
In an interview with Xinhua on the sidelines of the event, Kenneth Jumba, the publishing manager at Kenya Literature Bureau said this kind of collaboration will enhance the bilateral relations.

"My natural impression is that China is doing a good job in offering whatever literal material that we have to the Chinese market.
