USA: Mead Valley 1 Person Dead in Shooting

08/12/2024 08:35 am (GMT-0700) | MEAD VALLEY, Calif. – "On August 12, 2024, at 8:35 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the area of Cajalco Road and Haines Street in Mead Valley regarding an assault with a deadly weapon. The reporting party stated a male was shot and the suspect was driving a white truck. When deputies arrived, they located the victim, who was rendered medical aid, but was ultimately pronounced deceased at the scene. The Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. No additional details are available at this time," stated Sergeant Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez, Public Information Officer with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
