Hamster in China playfully wrestles with a cicada
On August 8, 2024, a humorous and somewhat whimsical scene was captured in Yantai, Shandong, eastern China, involving a small hamster and a cicada.
The hamster named Shu Shu (Mouse), which resides in a cozy house filled with wood shavings, managed to catch a cicada, gripping it firmly in its mouth.
As the cicada struggled, it inadvertently dragged the lightweight hamster back and forth, creating a comical sight as if the hamster were about to take flight. The filmer found the spectacle amusing and shared the video with Chinese netizens, humorously captioning it, "Looks like I, the little hamster, am about to fly!"
