Wild rabbit struggles to climb back up from riverbank in China
This is the concerning moment a wild rabbit struggles to climb out of a river in central China.
Footage shows the rabbit jumping down from the bank to drink water in Yanling County, Xuchang, Henan, on August 2.
After quenching its thirst, the rabbit tried to swim across to the other side. Upon reaching the opposite bank, it found itself unable to climb back onto dry land.
The video captures the animal frantically circling and appearing helpless by the water's edge.
The filmer, who was fishing nearby, recorded the struggle and said the rabbit eventually managed to climb up the riverbank.
