"We moved nine hours from family to go to Disney World every day - we're obsessed"
A couple who got engaged at Disney World moved nine hours from their families to Florida - so they can go to the theme park every day.
Haley Sisk, 30, upped sticks and moved 652 miles from Knoxville, Tennessee, to Orlando, Florida, with her husband, Austin, 30, and three children - Everly, five, Ryder, two, and Ella, 11 months - in July 2024.
Haley grew up watching Disney films and fell in love with the franchise after becoming obsessed with the Little Mermaid.
She got engaged to Austin in July 2016, at Cinderella's Castle and said it is a "huge part" of their story."
The couple say the move was inspired by wanting their three children to spend a lot of their childhood there.
The couple pay $2,997-a-year for three park passes and their two youngest children go free.
Haley, a stay-at-home mum, from Knoxville, Tennessee, said: "I grew up watching Disney movies - princesses were a huge part of my childhood."
"My husband and I have spent a lot of time at Disney World."
"We got engaged there in 2016, it is a huge part of our story together."
"We wanted our kids to spend a lot of their childhood in the park."
"Disney is a place that feels very magical and happy and brings us so much joy as a family."
Haley has now been to Disney World 12 times - with five of those coming since moving to Florida in July 2024.
Haley said: "Whether we go to Disney World for one hour or a day we know we will feel happiness and peace."
"On top of that we get to see our kids faces light up when they see their favourite characters."
"That is what we love about it, the fact we can make memories with our children every day."
Haley said it was a "sacrifice" to move nine hours away from her family in Tennessee but something she has always dreamed of doing."
She said: "It was something we had always wanted to do and we had the opportunity to do it."
"We asked our kids if that was something they wanted to do as it was a sacrifice for our family."
"Our family were super excited for us but definitely sad as it is nine hours away."
"They were sad that we were leaving but happy to give our children and exciting childhood."
Austin works as a real estate agent and his company has an office in Florida so he transferred his role there.
The couple pay $999 per person annually for a park pass and Ryder and Ella go free as they are under three.
Haley said: "We pay for the passes and then parking is free and other things in the park are discounted."
"We have been every day since we moved - we are taking every chance we get."
"The cool thing about moving here is we don't have to plan a whole trip every time we go to the park."
"We literally live 10 minutes from the park so it is so early to run over there and do something."
"Last week we saw the wait to see the princesses was 20 minutes and my daughter and I ran over there to meet them."
