This is the hilarious moment a youngster was dragged across the field by his kite while playing on a windy day.

Jheian Cris Villaflores was testing a homemade kite with friends when the gust effortlessly pulled them across a grass field on a breezy afternoon in Cavite, the Philippines, on August 12.

Footage shows Jheian seemingly playing tug-of-war while reeling in the flying kite. He put force onto his feet by leaning back and using his weight, but he fell forward when there was a gust.

He was then dragged across the field while his friends rushed to save him, and a bigger kid took over the rope.

One of the youngsters, Darril Salgado, said: 'Our friends and I are flying different kites. We make them in different sizes, but that one was big.'
