STORYLINE:
The Israeli shelling on the border town of Kfar Kila in Lebanon turned the town into a completely uninhabitable area as the latest shelling and air raids targeted the civilian houses and leveled them to the ground.
On Wednesday, the Israeli warplanes raided and destroyed a living block causing the injury of more than 17 civilians including women and children.
Tensions along the Lebanon-Israel border escalated on Oct. 8, 2023, following a barrage of rockets launched by the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah toward Israel in solidarity with Hamas' attack on Israel the day before. Israel then retaliated by firing heavy artillery towards southeastern Lebanon.
