A British tourist gave a hilarious commentary watching ‘smelly backpackers' deciding whether they needed to shower.

The holidaymaker was at a restaurant when he saw the pair of youngsters outside a laundry shop across the road in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Footage shows the man and woman in a discussion while the Brit is heard saying: ‘Should we wash our clothes or not? Smelly, smelly people.'

The backpacker is seen in the video trying to asses how dirty he and his partner were.

He lifted up the woman's arm to smell her armpit as the Brit laughed and said: ‘Oh, he's definitely going to get that fu***** laundry.'

The Brit continued with the commentary: ‘Smelly, smelly fu***** just look at his fingers.'

He laughed once more when the man brushed his hand on the armpit of the woman.

The Brit said: ‘Oh look. Oh, do it, put it in the wash. Oh, it's the best ever. You smelly fu*****.'

As the man sniffed his hand, he said: ‘Oh, I can't watch it anymore.'

He ended it singing: ‘You stink, oh you know you do.'

Cambodia is one of the poorest countries in Southeast Asia but arguably the most fascinating history - from the great Khmer Empire which stretched across the region to the horrors of the Khmer Rouge.

Few tourists even ventured into the country until the turn of the century.
