USA: LAX American Airlines Emergency Landing
Los Angeles, United States - August 15, 2024
08/15/2024 12:40 am (GMT-0700) | Los Angeles International Airport – American Airlines flight AAL1644 safely made an emergency landing Thursday morning at LAX World Airport. LAFD responded to the location for an aircraft standby due to the aircraft having a steering issue with the front landing gear nose wheel. After landing, LAFD personnel checked the aircraft for damage or personnel/passenger injuries. No injuries reported at this time. Airport operations were able to remove the stuck aircraft from the runway at 1:45 a.m. with a "tug" vehicle.
