Playful slap among turtles in a small pond in China
On June 28, 2024, a charming and amusing moment was captured in a small pond in Changde, Hunan province, central China, involving two African helmeted turtles named Paipai and Wuyi.
As they swam, their owner entertained them with a finger twirling above the water, causing the turtles to rotate their heads in sync.
When the owner summons the two turtles to come closer, the smaller of the two, Paipai, accidentally slaps Wuyi in the face with one of his flippers, adding a comedic twist to the playful interaction and a bit of humor to their peaceful swim.
