Burned down hospital, mentally disturbed patient who was trapped in the room asked for help from the patient's family, hysterical.

One of the rooms at the Lakipadada Regional Hospital, in Tana Toraja, South Sulawesi, Indonesia, namely the flamboyant treatment unit that treats patients with mental disorders burned down on August 16 2024.

The fire made the patients in the room panic, even the patient's guardians, namely the family, were hysterical when they saw the incident.
Luckily, the patient's family succeeded and quickly opened the room door to save the patient who was trapped in the burning room.

one ODGJ patient (a person with mental disorders) was suspected of burning his clothes and mattress, causing the room to catch fire.
It is known that the patient was a victim of burns, and has now been admitted to the ER at Lakipadada Regional Hospital for medical treatment.

"Yes, this incident is true, there is one victim, namely a patient, who is currently being treated in the hospital emergency room," said Dr. Rudi Andilolo, Regional Secretary of Tana Toraja.

Meanwhile, the Lakipadada Regional Hospital has now appealed to and prohibited the families of patients who are guarding them from giving cigarettes secretly to prevent similar fires from occurring.

"Sata summoned the director, doctor and head of care. We also appealed to the patient's family not to give them cigarettes in secret, so that things don't happen that we both don't want, luckily we were quick on top of that," concluded Rudi Andilolo.
