China: The mung beans are ejected through the vent hole of the casserole

When cooking mung bean soup, due to the pressure, the skins of all the mung beans are ejected through the vent hole of the casserole.
This footage was filmed by Mr. Wei, in Huicheng, Huizhou, Guangdong, at 6:53 pm, on August 5, 2024.
This phenomenon occurs because as the temperature rises during cooking, the steam generated inside the pot increases the pressure. When this pressure exceeds the design limit of the vent hole, it forces the lighter mung bean skins out through the hole, leaving the soup with mostly skinless mung beans.
