United States: Studio City Man Stabbed During Apparent Altercation at Metro Station

A man was stabbed early Friday morning during an apparent altercation at the Universal/Studio City Metro Station.
The incident was reported at approximately 12:35 a.m., prompting a response from the Los Angeles City Fire Department, the Los Angeles Police Department and Metro Police. The victim suffered a laceration to his arm and received treatment at the scene.
According to initial reports, two individuals were allegedly armed with knives, though this remains unconfirmed. Authorities at the scene were unable to verify whether the altercation occurred on a bus or a train. The LAPD and Metro Police are investigating the incident.
Details regarding the suspect or the exact circumstances surrounding the stabbing remain unknown at this time.
