The prices displayed at service stations have certainly delighted many motorists, with fuel prices which had not been this low for more than a year. However, tensions in the Middle East could well cause the price of a barrel to rise more quickly than expected.
1.66 euros on average for the liter of diesel and 1.80 euros for the liter of unleaded… Something unheard of at the gas pump for over a year. The Ministry of Ecological Transition announced, Monday August 12, a significant drop in fuel prices over the first two weeks of August. Excellent news for the tens of thousands of vacationers who took to the road for the August 15th bridge and for all the others.
