This is our kangal Salim with my sister Jenny grooming him. He absolutely LOVES to be groomed and shows his appreciation and pleasure by baring his fangs. If you stop, he will let you know with his paws.
Our two kangals are the only two dogs out of our 6-pack (dogs) who really enjoy being groomed and they need it because they are constantly covered in burrs when they go on runs with us in the jungle. We either walk with them or take the ATV, so they get enough exercise. They are brothers and we got them originally for livestock protection, but since we don’t have sheep anymore on our 93 acre farm, they were very happy to become ‘house/deck’ dogs. Of course they love the individual attention and stand in line to be next.
