A montage of 16 different Ewing's sarcoma cancer cells divide.
I selected 16 different Ewing's sarcoma cancer cells and compiled them into a montage to show what cancer cell division looks like. This process is known as mitosis. Many cells in your body perform this process daily, the cells in your guts, the cells in your bone marrow, the cells in your skin. Cancer cells also do this but they do so in a much more unregulated fashion, giving rise to tumours.
