A couple of years ago, Savannah’s husband and mother teamed up to surprise her with a visit from her estranged father at the hospital, just after she had given birth to her son. Having recently reconnected and begun mending their father-daughter relationship, Savannah had expressed a deep desire to see him again. Despite a rocky past and his absence during her childhood, her father's surprise visit marked a significant step in their journey toward reconciliation.

She had been expressing how she wanted to see him again, being that they just started working on their father-daughter relationship together so her mom and I worked together to surprise her with him coming to town and visiting at the hospital after she had our son. They had a rocky past and he wasn’t present, and while he knows he cannot make up for lost time, he tries his best ever since then to be present now for her and our family. I’ve seen a part of her inner child heal from this. She refers to it as a beautiful moment she wouldn’t have seen coming ever in this lifetime.
