STORYLINE:

A total of 22 youngsters from Oman have been on a two-week study tour in Tianjin to experience Chinese culture, participating in a variety of field activities and cultural lessons.

In this class, we learned the different techniques of how to draw the watermelon on this Chinese fan. Actually, I do have a background of Mandarin of two years. Now I came here to learn more Mandarin to expand my language and I look forward to learning more about the culture and the language. I think having Chinese as a language will open many doors for me in China and around the world.

We have some activities and we have the study about Chinese lessons and the traditional culture of Chinese. It's the first time but not the last time. We will visit China in the future.

This tour of Omani youngsters to China makes them experience the authentic culture of China and engage in cultural exchanges with our teachers and students. We hope that the Omani teenagers will know more about our country, and have more friendly exchanges with our culture.
