Onlookers rescued a motorcycle rider who was being swept by a raging flash flood in India.

The motorist was struggling to cross the when he was swept away by the muddy torrent from heavy torrential downpours in Ramnagar, Hyderabad, on August 20.

The man on his bike eventually lost control of his vehicle and drifted through the rushing water until locals helped.

Despite being swept away, the motorcyclist with the help of several men was able to successfully persevere through the heavy flood.

After Monday's heavy rainfall, Hyderabad is dealing with serious water logging issues leading to significant inconvenience to traffic and commuters.

Authorities issued traffic advisories for areas like Shaikpet and Toilchowki due to the ongoing disruption caused by the stormy weather.
