Chinese car navigate deeply flooded streets
On August 19, 2024, severe weather conditions led to significant flooding in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, northern China, affecting road travel.
Over the past few days, continuous heavy rainfall had filled the lower sections of many roads with deep water. A video captured on this date shows a vehicle cautiously driving through water that was several centimeters deep, almost submerging the lower parts of the car.
Drivers had to carefully maneuver their vehicles through the submerged streets, showing a mix of determination and caution to safely navigate the challenging conditions.
