On Tuesday 20th August , a speeding truck wreaked havoc on the Mahu-Nimach highway in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. The out-of-control truck rammed into a tractor from behind, causing such a violent collision that the tractor overturned twice on the four-lane road, spilling sand from its trailer across the entire road. The accident was captured on CCTV cameras. Both the tractor driver and another person were severely injured and have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment.
The incident was recorded by CCTV cameras installed outside the Himalaya School gate. After hitting the tractor, the truck driver fled the scene at high speed. Additionally, some motorcyclists narrowly escaped being involved in the accident.
The sudden accident caused panic and confusion in the area, with passersby stopping their vehicles to view the wreckage. Local residents helped extract the tractor driver and the other injured person from the scene and informed the police. Upon receiving the report, the police arrived quickly, transported the injured individuals to the government hospital, and began an investigation. The Bilpank police station has filed a case and started the inquiry.
