This is the violent moment a road rage driver rammed cars, leaving four injured in India on August 20.

A black Tata Harrier SUV was seen repeatedly crashing into a white Toyota Fortuner on the Ambernath-Badlapur Road in Thane, Maharashtra.

The incident resulted in several injuries, including two motorcyclists.

Footage shows a child in the Fortuner screaming as the Harrier aggressively collides with the white vehicle, trapping the driver underneath.

Local media reported that the driver of the Fortuner sustained severe injuries and was hospitalised.

The clash is reported to be related to a family dispute. The accused's wife and child were said to be in the car at the time of the attack.

A man standing on the road was also struck and dragged by the Harrier for several metres.

Thane police have assured that necessary measures will be taken: 'The Senior Police Inspector of Ambernath Police Station has been informed and will take appropriate action.'
