Tehran residents on Tuesday expressed their skepticism over the United States' "sincerity" in mediating a ceasefire in the warn-torn Gaza Strip.

Some residents said in interviews with China Media Group that the U.S. policy towards the Middle East has always been full of contradictions, chaos and division.

Other residents accused the U.S. of attempting to destabilize the Middle East by fermenting color revolution and war.
