USA: Vermont Vista Double Fatal Shooting

08/20/2024 09:50 pm (GMT-0700) | VERMONT VISTA, LOS ANGELES – Two men were fatally shot at a smoke shop in the Vermont Vista neighborhood within South Los Angeles late Tuesday evening.
LAPD Southeast Division units responded to reports of a shooting with two victims down at a smoke shop located at 8631 S. Figueroa St.
An LAPD spokesperson told KNN that two males were inside a smoke shop when two males entered and fired multiple shots at the two male victims. They were both pronounced deceased at the scene. The suspects had fled in a vehicle.
A large crime scene was established as there were a large amount of bullet casings observed at the location. It is not known at this time if the shooting is gang related.
South Bureau Homicide is investigating the fatal shooting.
