STORYLINE:

The municipal council of Taybeh village in south Lebanon in coordination with the Lebanese Energy Ministry and the municipal union of Jabal Amel and the Mourad contracting company, jointly donated a new power unit to resume power production and distribution to the border villages.

The donation comes after a main power station in the Taybeh village was destroyed amid the exchange of fire between Israel and Hezbollah.

"We are here at the site of Taybeh power station that provides a large part of the electric power and water supply to the borderline villages. This station was subject to many Israeli attacks recently and the latest air raid resulted in the destruction of the power station and it was out of service completely.
In an exceptional initiative due to the exceptional situation we are going through, the municipal council in coordination with MP Ali Fayyad and the municipalities union of Jabal Amel and Mourad Company, they provided the station with a new power unit to put the station back to work."
