The touching video shows rescuers breaking the wall and freeing a trapped and dusty kitten.

The incident occurred in a building in Almaty, southern Kazakhstan on Sunday, August 18.

Rescuers broke a section of the wall covered with tiles, put their hands into the resulting hole and helped the adorable little kitten out.

The Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan said in a statement: 'The kitten was rescued. Today in the Almaty area, a kitten was stuck behind the wall panelling of a building that serves food.

'People heard loud meowing and asked the Ministry of Emergency Situations for help.

'Rescuers reached the scene, safely freed the animal with entrenching tools and handed it over to a concerned witness of the incident.

'Rescuers will come to the rescue under any circumstances!'
