Chinese man wears frozen clothes to beat the heat
On August 15, 2024, amidst a sweltering heatwave in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, eastern China, a man devised a novel method to stay cool.
Seeking relief from the intense heat, he placed his clothing in the freezer. After allowing enough time for the clothes to freeze, he retrieved and donned them.
His initial thought was that wearing the frozen clothes would provide a refreshing escape from the heat. Indeed, upon putting them on, he found the experience to be chillingly effective, and was ecstatic about what he describes as the “refreshing coolness” that can turn summer into winter.
