Jeremy Clarkson opens his new pub near Burford despite local traffic concerns
The Farmer's Dog Pub, Asthall, Burford, Oxfordshire, UK. 23rd August 2024. Concerns have been raised that Jeremy Clarkson's new pub The Farmer’s Dog could spark more traffic problems following the success of his Diddly Squat farm shop. Queues lasting hours often form outside the 64-year-old’s business, while drivers are turned away from the farm’s car park due to limited capacity. Locals fear the same could happen when Jeremy opens his boozer, Before Clarkson took the reins, the pub located in the Cotswolds was best-known to locals as The Windmill. On Instagram, a new account was set up for the pub, revealing it's name to be The Farmer's Dog. The presenter and journalist unveiled the new pub name, and confirmed the opening date, in an Instagram posted on Tuesday, August 20, writing: "The Farmer's Dog opens Friday 23rd August 12pm, OX18 4HJ." Jeremy Clarkson has installed a huge canopy and outdoor tables at his new £1million pub ahead of its opening.
