STORYLINE:
Since the start of the summer travel season on July 1, over 100,000 people have passed through Tianjin International Cruise Home Port, according to the local border inspection station.
During this period, the Tianjin Dongjiang border inspection station has inspected more than 40 cruise ships at the port.
Family travel has significantly increased this season, with nearly one-third of passengers being elderly individuals over 60, and more than 20 percent being youth under 18.
In response to the peak travel season, the Tianjin Dongjiang border inspection station has implemented measures, includes opening additional channels, deploying extra personnel, and using express lanes to enhance the efficiency of passenger clearance at the cruise port.
