A cheeky raccoon snatched a visitor's bracelet right off their wrist at a zoo in Xiamen, Fujian Province.

Footage from August 19 shows the raccoons reaching through petting holes in their enclosure. One of the group manages to snap the jewellery off the female visitor's arm.

On August 19, 2024, a playful encounter at a zoo in Xiamen, Fujian province, southeastern China, turned unexpectedly adventurous for a female visitor.

While engaging with a small raccoon, the clever animal reached out from a small hole and firmly grasped the woman's bracelet, pulling it towards itself. Despite the visitor's attempts to retrieve her jewelry, the tussle ended with the bracelet snapping apart.

The incident, captured on video, amused and surprised Chinese viewers. The raccoon's mischievous act showcased its natural curiosity and dexterity, leaving the visitor without her bracelet but with a memorable story to tell.
