Argentina: Record number of participants in the Buenos Aires marathon
The Buenos Aires Half Marathon set a new record of participants (25,000 people) and confirmed that it is the most massive athletic event in the country. At 7:30, in Figueroa Alcorta and Dorrego, in the city of Buenos Aires, the elite participants started. Then, in a staggered manner, the other hundreds and hundreds of running fans left, who were part of an international athletics party. And the route included iconic images of the Argentine capital: in fact, the athletes passed by the Obelisk, 9 de Julio, Avenida Libertador and the Bosques de Palermo. The closing ceremony took place in the same place where it all began.
