Shocking video captures the harrowing moment a woman miraculously survives a savage attack by her neighbour's five dogs while strolling down the street.

Florencia Cantero, 28, from the city of Pilar, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, was on her way to work when she was suddenly mauled by the dogs on August 6.

Surveillance footage shows the pack of dogs suddenly attacking her, prompting her to dash across the road in a desperate escape as neighbours rush to her aid.

In a local media interview, she revealed that since the attack, she has struggled with insomnia, fears for her children's safety, and is unable to return to work.

Florencia said: 'I'm scared, I feel like the dogs are going to appear out of nowhere. If I leave my house, it is by car. I cannot go to the kiosk or anywhere alone.'

The woman revealed that, as a result of the attack, she sustained numerous cuts and bruises across her body. Her hands, arms, armpits, and especially her legs were severely injured.

The stitches for her multiple wounds were removed on August 20. She said: 'My legs are horrible.'

Florencia stated that no action has been taken against the dogs' owner since the attack and added: 'The dogs are still there as if nothing happened.

'I don't want them to be here anymore. Now, I can't think about my children going out on the street. My family is outraged and angry after what happened to me.'

She continued: 'As I am an administrator, I have a computer and I can do things from home so that everything doesn't pile up.

'When I have to go back, my husband will drive me because I can't even go shopping alone.'
