United States: Downtown Claremont Restaurant Destroyed by Fire
Los Angeles, United States - August 22, 2024
08/22/2024 02:33 am (GMT-0700) | CLAREMONT, Calif. – Claremont PD and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a fire at Walter’s Restaurant at 310 Yale Avenue in the city of Claremont.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and located heavy smoke and fire showing from the roof of a restaurant and a shopping center. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to only one business.
It is unknown at this time how the fire started. Firefighters remained at the scene to douse hotspots in the attic of the restaurant.
As of 6:15 a.m., a total of three businesses had sustained fire damage.
