Fulshear, United States - August 23, 2024

In a surprising twist to the usual day's events, Fulshear Police Department Lieutenant Bill Henry found himself dealing with not one, but two alligator encounters on Friday, showcasing the unique wildlife challenges faced by local law enforcement.

The first incident occurred early in the morning when Lt. Henry was called to a residence where an alligator was spotted near a backyard fence. "We used a pole on that one because he was kind of hidden in the vegetation," Lt. Henry explained, detailing the cautious approach needed due to the gator's concealed position.

However, the day's wildlife adventures didn't end there. Just three hours later, another call came in, this time with a more dramatic setting. An alligator had made itself comfortable right at a resident's front door, next to an Amazon delivery. "He was relatively small. I felt pretty comfortable, so I walked up there and just grabbed him," Lt. Henry recounted, demonstrating his seasoned handling of such situations.

Both alligators, despite their intimidating appearances, were safely relocated to larger bodies of water where they could thrive without posing a threat to the community.
