The Milwaukee County Zoo has shared an encouraging update on Kendi, one of its beloved giraffes, following a significant surgery on April 11. In a video released on August 23, the zoo detailed Kendi's recovery, which has progressed smoothly, much to the relief of staff and visitors alike.

Kendi underwent a procedure that initially raised concerns about his future health and ability to breed. However, according to the zoo's recent statement, consultations with his surgical team have alleviated those worries. "Our animal care team has followed up with his surgeons, and the team does not anticipate any breeding problems in the future," the zoo announced, signaling a positive outlook for Kendi's reproductive health.
