A new rail bridge, and a secondary bridge spanning to-be-created wildlife lakes. A £20 million pound development with Cornwall Council, Railtrack, Central govt and The Duchy of Cornwall. The new Rail bridge will be ready for the £60 million pound Newquay to Falmouth Metro Rail link which started construction in August 2024. An official opening will be in Spring 2025. This new Strategic road route will link Hendra with The Duchy of Cornwall new town of Nansledan. 750 houses completed with another 3,500 dwellings to come. A major boost for the town, tourists and locals as summer gridlock is a great frustration to all. The new road and structures have all been designed and materials chosen to fit in with the King's original masterplan for natural materials and high architectural standards. The Duchy of Cornwall is now in the Hands of William Duke of Cornwall.
